The short version
- This policy covers all DNNR Tech apps and this website (dnnr.us). Each app uses only some of the information below, depending on its features.
- We don't sell your personal information.
- To access or delete your data, contact us at any time.
Who we are and what this covers
DNNR Tech ("we", "us") is a technology company based in San Jose, California, and is responsible for the information described here. This policy applies to all apps published under the developer name DNNR Tech and to dnnr.us. Our apps do different things, so each one handles only some of the information below.
Information we collect
- Information you provide: posts, photos, and a nickname you share in community features; content you ask an app to process, such as a photo, document text, search, or address; and messages you send us through an app, by email, or through our website (such as your name, email address, and message).
- Account information: some apps use an anonymous account or offer optional sign-in with Google or Apple. If you sign in, we receive your email address and, if Apple shares it, your name.
- Information collected automatically: identifiers such as an app user ID, install ID, push token, and your device's advertising ID; usage, performance, and crash data; device model, operating system, language, time zone, and app version; and your IP address and the approximate location derived from it. This is collected through analytics and advertising tools (SDKs) in our apps. Our website may use cookies needed for security and operation; you can block cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work.
- Location: with your permission, to find nearby places or calculate distances and routes. Some apps use it only on your device; others send it to a server when a feature needs it. Some apps, if you allow it, use location and motion in the background (for example, to record drives automatically).
- Photos, camera, and files: accessed only when you use a feature that needs them. Photo location and date data and video analysis are processed on your device where possible. Some apps send the result, such as which city or place a photo matched, to our analytics. Only photos you post, attach, or send to an AI feature are uploaded.
- Purchases: payments are handled by Apple or Google. We never receive your card details, only the purchase records needed to confirm what you bought.
Some apps keep records, such as health or vaccination records, only on your device and don't send them to our servers.
How we use information
- To provide app features and run community features, including moderating content for safety
- To remember your settings and sync data you choose to share
- To understand how apps are used, fix bugs, and improve performance
- To show ads and measure how they perform
- To protect our services from abuse and keep them secure
- To respond to your messages and comply with law
Where the law requires a legal basis (for example, in the EU/UK or Korea), we rely on providing the service you request, your consent (for location, photos, notifications, and tracking), our legitimate interests (analytics, security, and improving our apps), and our legal obligations.
AI features
Some features send content you choose, such as a photo, document text, or search, to Google's AI services to produce a result, and we may use AI to moderate or translate community posts. Google processes this content under its own terms and privacy policy, so remove anything you don't want processed, such as a phone number or home address, before you send it.
Advertising
Apps that show ads use ad networks (Google AdMob and its mediation partners). They may collect your advertising ID, device information, and ad interactions to show and measure ads and, where permitted, to personalize them. Depending on the app, there may be no ads or only non-personalized ads.
- iOS: apps that personalize ads ask for tracking permission first. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers that run parts of our apps and website for us (below); other users, for content you choose to make public; others when required by law or to protect rights and safety; and a successor if an app or DNNR Tech is sold or merged, under this policy's protections. We work with providers that commit to protecting your information at a level consistent with this policy.
| Provider | What it does for us |
|---|---|
| Google (Firebase including Google Analytics for Firebase and Crashlytics, Google Cloud, Gemini/Vertex AI, Maps Platform, AdMob, and others) | Servers and storage, sign-in, app usage analytics and crash reports, push notifications, AI features, maps and places, ads |
| Ad mediation partners | Showing and measuring ads |
| RevenueCat (apps with purchases) | Purchase and subscription management |
| Apple | Sign in with Apple, push notifications, App Store purchases and ad attribution |
| Cloudflare | Website hosting, security, and contact form processing |
| Other tools we need to run our services (for example, internal notification and geocoding services) | Alerting us to messages and reports; turning coordinates or ZIP codes into place names |
We don't sell your personal information for money. Showing personalized ads may count as "sharing" under some laws, such as California's. You can opt out as described in Advertising.
How long we keep information
- Data kept only on your device: until you delete it or uninstall the app
- Account data and content you post: until you delete it or ask us to
- Messages to us: as long as needed to respond and follow up
- Analytics, crash, and advertising data: according to our providers' retention periods
When information is no longer needed, we delete it so it can't be restored, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your rights and choices
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to restrict its processing, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK, California, or Korea), you may also have rights to data portability, to object to processing, and to opt out of sharing for personalized ads. We won't treat you differently for exercising these rights. You can also turn off location, photos, camera, notifications, or tracking in your device settings.
Send us a request with the app name (see also Data & account deletion), or write to hello@dnnr.us. We respond within 30 days and may need to verify the request. An authorized agent may make a request for you, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Our apps are not directed to children under 13 (under 14 in Korea, or the minimum age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
Security and international transfers
We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit, limited access, and abuse protection, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We and our providers process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our apps change. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, give additional notice, for example in the app. This version is effective September 12, 2026.
